Pam Darwin currently serves as Vice President, Sub-Saharan Africa, Exploration and New Ventures for ExxonMobil based in Houston, Texas.

Pam joined Exxon in 1984 after completing her master's degree in geology from the University of Texas and bachelor’s degree from Colgate University. Over the years she has held a number of management positions, including Vice President, Americas, ExxonMobil Exploration Company and Vice President, Geoscience, ExxonMobil Production Company.

During her 35-year career she has worked on projects in more than twenty countries.
Her work in numerous developing countries around the globe has enabled her to see firsthand the positive impact that investing in women and energy can have on communities. She has advocated for women through her active involvement with ExxonMobil’s Women’s Economic Opportunity Initiative, a global effort that helps women fulfill their economic potential and drive social change in their communities.

Pam currently serves on the Solar Sister Board, the University of Texas Jackson School Advisory Board, the Bush Center Executive Advisory Council and is the Houston Area United Way Loaned Executive Chair. Pam and her husband live in Texas and have three grown children.
