Mr. Raillard has 25 years of operational and management experience in the energy sector. He was instrumental in Orca’s early success in Tanzania through his successive roles as Country Director and Vice President Operations. He also served as an executive Director of the Company.

Between 2012 and 2017, he was Director West Africa for African Petroleum Corp, where he managed ten Production Sharing Contracts and Government relationships in five countries (Senegal, The Gambia, Liberia, Sierra-Leone and the Ivory Coast). More recently Pierre was Director Africa for OneLNG (a joint venture between Schlumberger and Golar created to develop stranded gas assets via FLNG technology).

He holds a MSc in Chemistry from the Institut National Polytechnique of Toulouse (INPT – ENSIACET) and a MSc in General Management from the Aix-en-Provence Business School in France (Institut d’Administration des Entreprises).
