Rebecca Hofmann
President, Blockchain for Energy
Rebecca is an accomplished finance and compliance leader with over 19 years of energy industry experience. She recently worked for Equinor’s Operations Technology group and was responsible for ensuring the development and improvement of processes over governance, requirements and compliance to support domestic onshore and offshore operations. She also led the Blockchain digitalization strategy for Equinor and is the founder and visionary behind the US Oil & Gas Blockchain Forum, the OOC Oil & Gas Blockchain Consortium now rebranded to Blockchain for Energy (find out more) where she has served as Chairman of the Board the last two years.
Rebecca joined Equinor in 2011 as Head of Finance for the Appalachian basin. Prior to Equinor, she worked for Occidental Petroleum and Merit Energy as Manager of Financial Compliance and Manager Internal Audit Operations North America. In 2018, Rebecca received the GRIT award for her creativity and innovation within the industry.
