Roberto has gained extensive experience in the international O&G industry over 30 years, spanning various roles – from project economics to business development to general management – in Italy, Russia, Central Asia, the UK, and SE Asia. As Managing Director of Agip UK (2001-2002), President & CEO of VICO Indonesia (2003-2006), Managing Director of Eni Indonesia (2006-2009) and President Director of Premier Oil Indonesia (2010-2015), he has successfully managed the re-organization of large and complex activities.

Since joining MedcoEnergi, a leading Southeast Asia energy and natural resources company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (MEDC-IDX) as Director & CEO in November 2015, Roberto has overseen a phase of strategic repositioning and growth. The company has greatly expanded its O&G and Power generation activities, including through investments in renewable energy.

Born in Italy, Roberto obtained a Master from London Business School, a degree in Energy Economics from Scuola Superiore Enrico Mattei, and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Padova.
