Ryan McGeachie was named Chief Commercial Officer, Structured Products Americas with BP's energy trading and marketing business in February 2015.
Ryan brings an extensive background in leadership, commercial performance, compliance and risk management. His most recent role was Managing Director, U.S. Consumers within Structured Products Americas. Prior to his MD role, he was Regional Office Leader – Stamford, Connecticut and Vice President Marketing & Origination NE Power. He also served as Regional Office Leader – Indianapolis and Vice President Marketing & Origination Natural Gas, and previously Chief Credit Officer of BP Energy Company in Houston.
Earlier in his career, he held positions in energy risk management and banking at Alberta Energy Company, Koch Energy Trading Canada, EnCana Corporation and Toronto Dominion Bank.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Calgary and is a Certified Financial Analyst.
