Stephan Drouaud was appointed Project Director for Trion in June, 2019 and is based in Houston, Texas. Trion is the first oil deep water development in Mexico. Stephan joined BHP in 2006 and has served in various senior management roles supporting the Company´s project developments for the petroleum business. Prior to his current role, Stephan spent 12 years with Technip. He has over 26 years of experience in development and delivery of major offshore and onshore oil and gas projects, including facility engineering design, execution planning, facility construction and integration, and hook-up & commissioning of offshore and onshore field developments across the globe, including projects in the United States, Southeast Asia, Trinidad & Tobago, Western Australia, and Europe. Stephan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nantes (France). Stephan is married with 3 children, and enjoys playing and watching soccer
