Stéphane Le Galles was appointed Deputy Senior Vice President responsible for the Total-led Mozambique LNG Project in September 2019.  He has vast experience in the LNG industry gained over more than 20 years working on many of the world’s preeminent developments.

After graduating in 1989 as a Chartered Engineer Mr Le Galles pursued a career in Bouygues Group mostly in LNG gaining experience on projects in Turkey, China, Oman and Qatar.

In 2003 Mr Le Galles joined Total’s Gas and Power Group as Project Technical Manager for the company’s global portfolio of LNG regasification facilities, before taking a number of leadership roles with Total’s Exploration and Production group with Yemen LNG (Project Manager, 2005-2011), Shotkhman LNG (Project Director, 2010-2011) and Yamal LNG (Project Director, 2012 – 2019).

Mr Le Galles is married with two adult children.
