Mr. Magness joined USDG in December 2015 following the Casper terminal acquisition. In 2008, Mr. Magness co-founded Cogent Energy Solutions, LLC, a crude oil, condensate and refined products distribution and marketing business and the developer of the Casper terminal. Prior to Cogent, Mr. Magness held leadership roles in several energy-related trading businesses, including at Musket Corporation, Professional Energy Services and Aquila Merchant Services. Mr. Magness began his career at Koch Industries with over 17 years of experience across their refining, fuels, carbon, development and chemicals businesses. He currently serves as the Non-executive Chairman of the Board for Professional Energy Management, an energy supply, trading, marketing and risk management consulting firm. Mr. Magness holds a BS from the University of Oklahoma.
