
Tiffany Polak
Development Director, Marathon Oil
Tiffany Polak has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and has spent the last seven years with Marathon Oil Co. In her current role as Permian development director, Tiffany manages the reservoir engineering, geosciences, regulatory, production engineering and portfolio teams. She has spent the majority of her career focused on the subsurface and unconventional shale plays, including the Bakken, Utica, Eagle Ford and Permian.
Prior to joining Marathon, Tiffany worked for Hess Corp. and Ocean Energy. Her early experience included work on conventional play assets in West Africa and Gulf of Mexico.
Tiffany obtained a bachelor’s degree in professional zoology from the University of Oklahoma, where she was a student athlete. She also holds a master’s degree in infectious disease control epidemiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center and a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University. Tiffany is married with two children, ages 7 and 9. She enjoys traveling, reading, outdoor adventures and involvement in her children’s Boy and Girl Scout activities.
