Mr. Tang Tingchuan, born in Yilong of Sichuan Province in 1962, is Division Chief of the Development Strategy Division under CNPC Policy Research Office. As a Senior Economist, Mr. Tang was graduated from China University of Petroleum as Bachelor of Engineering and from Southeastern University of Finance and Economics as Master of Economics. For years, he has been engaging in studies on Chinese and overseas macroeconomics situations, government and industry petroleum policies and oil/gas development strategies. Besides, Mr. Tang has organized a number of major national-level or ministerial-level research programs on soft science; he has also
published several books such as Petroleum Market System and dozens of theses.
