Tracy Robinson
Executive Vice President, President Canadian Natural Gas Pipelines, TC Energy
Tracy Robinson has responsibility for all commercial, business development, project, regulatory and operating functions for the Canada Gas business unit. This includes the NGTL system, the largest natural gas gathering and transportation system for the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB), and the Canadian Mainline, a historic pipeline that has transported supply from the WCSB across Canada to Ontario and Québec to deliver gas to downstream Canadian and U.S. markets for six decades.
In addition to her role as Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Canadian Natural Gas Pipelines, Tracy was appointed as a member of TransCanada’s Executive Leadership Team in November, 2017. Tracy joined TransCanada in 2014 as Vice-President, Transportation for the Liquid Pipelines business unit, before moving on to serve as Vice-President, Supply Chain in 2015. Prior to joining TransCanada, Tracy spent 27 years at Canadian Pacific, serving in executive roles spanning Operations, Finance and Commercial.
Tracy has held a number of industry and private board positions. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Smart Sand, Inc. and sits as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Edwards School of Business of the University of Saskatchewan. She represents TransCanada at the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association’s (CEPA) Executive Business Environment Standing Committee, on the Board of the Ontario Energy Association and on the Board of the Iroquois Gas Transmission System. Tracy holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Saskatchewan. She received her institute of Corporate Directors designation in 2015.
