Madame Wafae Benjelloun Benhammou has more than 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, mainly in charge of negotiations, new business and management of projects at the National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (ONHYM) in Morocco.

She is a graduate in political sciences and energy law from Law Institute Washington DC, and was appointed as an executive director in 2006.

Mrs Benhammou is an ambassador of the Moroccan hydrocarbon exploration sector. She is eager to sustainable partnerships between ONHYM and international oil and gas companies, for hydrocarbon exploration of Moroccan sedimentary basins and the development of the Moroccan hydrocarbon sector.
