On 18th March, we held our executive Hydrogen Advisory board which brought together Europe’s leading stakeholders in the space. In our advisory board report, you will find a summary of the two and half hour discussion and the top takeaways.
The purpose of our board meeting was to gain a cross-industry understanding about the latest challenges in developing the Europe’s hydrogen economy to achieve net-zero ambitions. Ahead of the Easter break, I am pleased to share with you the European Hydrogen advisory board report which summarises the two and a half hour discussion with some of the top takeaways including:
- The green market is currently fragmented in Europe, so how do we get there?
- Avoiding first-mover disadvantage: There is an investment gap in hydrogen projects and the important role of subsidies
- The reuse of existing assets including the essential role of storage
