Alex Fabrega is a Director of Investments at CKD Infraestructura México, the largest infrastructure private equity fund in Mexico led by local pension funds. Since at CKD IM, Alex has participated in over USD1.2bn equity commitments for the acquisition of the largest renewable energy portfolio in Latin America, 8 solar and wind assets with over 1,800MW alongside Enel Green Power; the participation in the creation of a national wholesale telecom network in Mexico, Altán Redes; and the acquisition of 4-toll road platform OVT consisting of +500km of toll roads across Mexico. Prior to CKD IM, Alex worked at Deutsche Bank in the M&A group focusing on transportation and energy sectors. Alex has a Bachelor’s degree from Villanova University, an executive degree on Project and Infrastructure Finance from the London Business School and a degree in Negotiation from Harvard Business School.
