Ami Arief
Senior Vice President, Tellurian Production
Ami Arief has over 18 years of experience in the energy industry where she has spent the majority of it in North America unconventional shale play development. Ami is currently the senior vice president for Tellurian Production LLC, where she leads the engineering, geoscience and operations teams. Prior to Tellurian, she was vice president of Impact Natural Resources, a private upstream company.
Ami has worked in various technical and leadership roles with Exxon Mobil Corp., Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Southwestern Energy Co., where she managed a multidiscipline team drilling over 200 horizontal wells per year and production of over 2 Bcf/d from 3000-plus horizontal wells. Ami has a B.S. in chemical engineering and a B.A. in French from Virginia Tech, and an MBA from the University of Houston. She is a licensed professional engineer (petroleum) in the state of Texas and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, where she has served in several committees.
