Cajeme Villarreal
Head of the Non-Tax and Hydrocarbon Revenue Policy Unit, SHCP
Cajeme Villarreal is an economist with 8 years of experience building and implementing federal fiscal, energy and transport policies in Mexico.
At Mexico's Ministry of Finance he is in charge of the fiscal policy on the hydrocarbon and fuel industries, and of CFE's electricity rates. He hold seats at Pemex's and CFE's Board Committees, and at their Subsidiaries', CENAGAS' and CENACE's Boards. Vajeme also conducts the policy on all federal fees and royalties, including on mining, telecom and transport concessions.
He studied Economics at Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, El Colegio de Mexico and The University of Chicago.
