Doug Reynolds is Head of Global Investment Banking – Energy (U.S., LatAm), with responsibility for leading the firm's effort in M&A and A&D related to US and LatAm clients and properties, for developing and growing Scotiabank's leading US oil and gas equity issuance platform, and for developing the bank’s strategy toward the upstream, midstream, downstream and OFS sectors. He is also the head of Scotiabank’s Houston office.

Mr. Reynolds has over 30 years of investment banking experience in the energy sector.  He has advised on M&A and capital markets transactions in over 20 countries across 6 continents, and led some of the most significant transactions in the industry. He has recently advised on several of the most important transactions in the Eagleford, and on over 20 transactions involving entities from the PRC. He has been based in New York, London, Hong Kong and Houston during his career.

Mr. Reynolds holds a BA in Economics from Colgate University
