Marina Taib
Head Corporate Strategic Planning, PETRONAS
Marina is the Head of Corporate Strategic Planning of PETRONAS. In this role she oversees the development of immediate and long-term strategic direction and plans, integrating with the organisation’s purpose to create lasting value for the company and society. Marina started her career in PETRONAS in 1999, and assumed various managerial and leadership roles within Group Finance and Group Strategic Planning, before she was appointed Head of Strategic Planning for the Group’s Petroleum Management Unit.
In 2015, she accepted a posting to Brunei with PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd, the Exploration and Production arm of PETRONAS, as Head of Brunei Operations. Following this stint abroad, Marina served as Head of Corporate Projects with the Group’s Project Delivery & Technology division.
Marina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from the University of Exeter, UK, and a Masters in Petroleum Business Management from the University of Adelaide, Australia. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
