Matthieu spent most of its career in the oil & gas banking business. After starting his career with Deloitte M&A team, Matthieu joined Natixis where he held several positions as coverage & financier of NOCs, IOCs and Junior Oil & Gas companies for which he arranged RBL, PF, PXF or prepay type of financings. Over the past years, he was quite active on arranging acquisition financings for Private Equity backed companies. Matthieu is currently Upstream Group Head within Natixis Energy & Natural Resources Industry Group where he is responsible of the Upstream sector coverage and of originating M&A, acquisition finance, DCM and ECM mandates.
