I am a senior finance leader, currently heading the Commodity Financing business for Shell Trading, a word scale portfolio, which delivers market leading returns and material P&L. I have been with Shell for also most 31 years acquiring deep finance functional and leadership experiences from the various global business roles I have held, including the directorship of a Chemicals joint venture and chairing the board of a Trading entity. During my career, I have performed finance management and controllership roles, led the design and implementation of organisational and system change (e.g. global SAP design and implementation), held roles in Group Treasury and Internal Audit and led the finance function for one of Shell’s largest Chemicals businesses (covering manufacturing, supply chain, credit and the commercial customer contracting interface).

I am conscious of the human element to doing business and the necessity to nurture individuals to reach their potential, thereby delivering exceptional performance.

As a subject matter expert in energy trading controls and risk management, I protect and optimise corporate assets while delivering major global business-wide appraisals in partnership with organisational heads to optimise future business performance.
