Mike Lakin – Founder and Managing Director, Envoi Limited. A geology graduate from Cardiff University in 1981, Mike worked for independent oil and gas companies involved in the UK, Europe and West Africa until 1989. He then joined Petresearch as a geologist specialising in international upstream project A&D (Acquisition & Divestment) and portfolio management activities, becoming group General Manager, until leaving to establish Envoi Limited at the end of 1999. Envoi has since become a leading independent global A&D advisory group assisting E&P companies, NOC’s and increasingly financial institutions on upstream A&D issues.
