Stacey Olson

Proud Chevron employee and business leader with a passion for strategy development, technical innovation, cost management, safety, and operational performance. As the Vice President of Chevron’s Appalachian Mountain Business Unit, I lead an organization of more than 350 talented, exceptional employees dedicated to natural gas exploration and production efforts in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. I also serve as a member of Chevron’s Management Committee, setting the strategic direction of the global Fortune 500 company.
Prior to leading Chevron Appalachia, I served for more than 20 years in positions of increasing responsibility in Chevron’s businesses in South America, Asia, and Europe, serving in leadership positions in Thailand, Indonesia, Venezuela, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom. In my time abroad, I helped to grow Chevron’s business in Europe; manage diverse teams in challenging geopolitical and social environments in Nigeria and Venezuela; and lead organization of more than 1,000 individuals working to generate profitable returns of mature assets in Indonesia.
I serve on the executive board of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development and am a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council and the International Women’s Forum. I earned a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Louisiana State University, MBA from Tulane University, and honorary doctorate from Waynesburg University
