Yemisi is a partner in the firm’s Energy & Projects Practice with a special bias for the commercialisation of hydrocarbons. She has garnered extensive specialist experience in all aspects of gas commercialisation projects and energy project financing. She has advised the entire value chain in the energy sector including upstream producers, offtakers, midstream service companies and the downstream market and routinely advises on the bankability of energy projects with a focus on risk evaluation, allocation and proffering mitigation mechanics through contractual documentation.

She combines her commercial experience with her deep understanding of the regulatory underpinnings of her focal sector.  She holds a Master of Science (with distinction) in Energy Studies from the University of Dundee in Scotland and a Master of Laws in Commercial Law from Cardiff Law School in Wales. She is also recognised by IFLR1000 Guide to the World’s Leading Financial Law Firms and Who’s Who Legal as a leading practitioner.
