My Dad was an engineer with Amoco early in his career and as a child we travelled the world on his job assignments, which led to my interest in not only the oil and gas business industry, but also the global reach of the business.

I have always had a fascination for the energy industry and I received my Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy Systems.
As an International Tax Advisor I have always been involved with Energy Companies, however, when Energy Reform was enacted EY decided to dedicate me fully to Energy, guiding its efforts to become an eminent Energy Advisor in Mexico.

I began investing in the Africa power sector in 2009. Previously my career included five years in the public sector in Afghanistan, working for the Afghan Finance Minister on economic reform including the energy sector and the UN on job creation.
